Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to practice progressive, high-quality medicine in a supportive environment. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will build lasting relationships with clients while delivering comprehensive medical care from diagnosis through treatment. Responsibilities include performing wellness examinations, diagnosing and managing medical conditions, developing treatment plans, educating clients, and working closely with the paraprofessional team to ensure the highest standards of patient care. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage a varied caseload while contributing to a collaborative hospital culture that supports ongoing learning and professional growth. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
This progressive small animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, with a strong focus on internal medicine diagnostics and advanced treatment protocols. The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, blood and laboratory testing capabilities, tonometry, modern anaesthetic monitoring equipment, and offers access to internal specialty consultations to support complex medical cases. Services include wellness examinations, preventative care, vaccinations, parasite control, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, nutrition counselling, dentistry, dental surgery, spay and neuter procedures, mass removals, cystotomy, ophthalmology, radiology, pain management, euthanasia, health certificates, microchipping, and advanced diagnostics. The practice prioritises mentorship, continuing education, and workflow support, allowing veterinarians to focus on delivering exceptional patient care while continuing to develop their clinical skills. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:45 PM and the hospital is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

The hospital is supported by a team of 6 DVMs and a great tenured support team. The collaborative environment encourages mentorship, continuing education, and teamwork, providing veterinarians with the support and resources needed to deliver outstanding patient care while advancing their careers.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
