Introduction
Our client is a practice providing veterinary care for dogs and cats in Richmond and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care within a modern environment focused on compassionate, low-stress veterinary medicine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive general practice care, including medical, surgical, and dental services, urgent care, soft tissue surgery, mass removals, and spays and neuters. The role can also provide opportunities to develop a specific clinical interest alongside general practice, including acupuncture, chiropractic care, rehabilitation, herbal medicine, or canine sports and performance medicine. Flexible scheduling is available, with no on-call rotation. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice is a modern, well-maintained facility equipped with current veterinary equipment and systems and has a strong focus on low-stress, cooperative-care handling. Services include veterinary care for dogs and cats, pharmacy services, surgery, chiropractic care, and urgent care. The practice supports veterinarians who wish to develop additional clinical interests and serves an active local dog-sports and performance-training community. Opening hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the practice closed Friday through Sunday.

The practice has one DVM and a great tenured support team. The environment emphasizes compassion, knowledge, transparency, collaboration, and strong clinical support, with a favorable staff-to-doctor ratio designed to give veterinarians the support needed to provide high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
