Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital in the Coweta/Fayette area of Georgia, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. Serving the community for over 30 years, this practice is known for its compassionate, client-centered care and high-quality veterinary services for cats and dogs.

Working Hours / Rota
This role offers a flexible four-day work schedule with no after-hours or emergency call requirements, supporting a healthy work-life balance. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of services including preventative care, wellness exams, surgery, and diagnostics. Strong surgical skills and excellent client communication are valued. The position is ideal for candidates with at least 1–2 years of experience, though mentorship and support are available.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped with three exam rooms, ultrasound, laser therapy, an in-house diagnostic laboratory, and an on-site pharmacy. They offer a full range of services, including preventive medicine, surgery, cold laser therapy, and wellness plans. The culture emphasizes teamwork, community involvement, and ongoing professional development.

Team
The practice is home to 2 DVMs supported by a highly trained 3:1 staff-to-DVM ratio, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
