Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides care for dogs, cats, and a variety of exotics, including birds, reptiles, and pocket pets. They are looking for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care across a diverse caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide consistent, high-quality care while performing complete diagnostic workups, obtaining accurate patient histories, and conducting thorough physical examinations. You will develop comprehensive treatment plans and deliver appropriate urgent, preventative, and ongoing care. The role also involves effectively communicating diagnoses and treatment recommendations to clients while building strong, lasting relationships. The hospital is open to discussing scheduling preferences with the successful candidate. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with at least two years of experience.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday mornings from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm and is closed on Sundays. They offer a range of services including dentistry, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgery, diagnostic testing, laser therapy, end-of-life care, and wellness services. The practice features fantastic facilities that support the delivery of high-quality care and is equipped with dental radiographs, digital radiography, diagnostic ultrasound, echocardiograms and ECG, an in-house laboratory, and laser surgery and therapy equipment.

Team
The team consists of five DVMs supported by a fantastic team of support staff. You will work alongside a skilled support team, including LVTs, in a warm, client-focused environment with a family-oriented, team-first culture that values collaboration and professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
