Introduction
Our client is a well-established, full-service veterinary practice in Sevierville, Tennessee, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their multi-doctor team. This friendly and community-focused hospital provides comprehensive care to dogs, cats, and a range of exotic species including birds, reptiles, and pocket pets. They welcome both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who are eager to grow within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and on Saturdays from 7:30am to 12:00pm. This position may be offered on a full-time or part-time basis depending on the candidate’s needs. There are no Sunday hours, supporting a balanced and predictable weekly schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive clinical care across wellness and sick visits, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgical procedures. With a varied caseload that includes small animals and exotics, the role offers a dynamic mix of preventive medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery, and ongoing patient management. The practice is open to both new graduates seeking mentorship and experienced veterinarians looking for a diverse and engaging caseload. The position places strong emphasis on client communication, individualized care, and contributing to a cohesive, team-focused culture.

Practice Details
The clinic is equipped with digital radiography, dental radiographs, diagnostic ultrasound, echocardiograms and ECG, in-house laboratory capabilities, laser surgery, laser therapy, and a full suite of tools for both routine and advanced soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures. The facility offers exams, consultations, diagnostics, and surgery alongside boarding services. The caseload includes dogs, cats, and exotic species, creating an enriching and varied clinical environment.

Team
The practice is supported by a team of seven DVMs and an excellent group of skilled support staff, including licensed veterinary medical technicians. The culture is warm, collaborative, and family-oriented, with a strong focus on professional growth, teamwork, and delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
