Introduction
Our client is a well-established animal hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in East Setauket, NY. The clinic provides a full range of services including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and emergency support, and is known for its progressive approach and compassionate, client-focused care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The hospital is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position with no after-hours requirements specified.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality care across preventative medicine, wellness exams, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and urgent care. Surgical services include spay and neuter procedures, ocular surgeries, and dental surgery. The hospital also provides geriatric care, puppy and kitten support, and acupuncture. This position is suited for an experienced veterinarian who thrives in a collaborative team environment and may be interested in mentorship or leadership opportunities.

The hospital is a progressive, full-service facility offering a wide range of services including preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, acupuncture, and emergency support. The hospital has five DVMs supported by a skilled and dedicated support team. The environment is collaborative, with an emphasis on teamwork, mentorship, and delivering the best possible outcomes for patients and their families.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
