Role Description and Responsibilities
This position offers the opportunity to undertake the full scope of GP responsibilities within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment. The successful candidate will be involved in preventative care, diagnostics, medical case management, surgery, dentistry, and client education while providing exceptional patient care. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and those earlier in their careers, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking mentorship and professional growth. A key benefit of this position is the absence of weekend and on-call commitments, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Wednesday from 8:00am to 7:00pm and Thursday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with weekends closed. Providing a full scope of GP services, the practice offers a diverse caseload supported by modern diagnostic equipment including, but not limited to, Ultrasound, Digital Dental X-Ray, and Digital X-Ray. The hospital has maintained AAHA accreditation since 1985 and is committed to performing treatments using fear and anxiety-free techniques whenever possible. Additional services include laser therapy, grooming, boarding, and nutritional counselling, allowing the practice to provide comprehensive care tailored to the needs of its patients.

Team
You will join a team of 4 DVMs alongside a seasoned support staff with more than 120 years of combined experience. The hospital places a strong emphasis on high-quality medicine, surgery, and intensive care, while also benefiting from in-hospital specialists in Surgery, Ultrasound, and Dentistry. Working alongside this experienced team provides excellent opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continued professional development within a supportive and patient-focused environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
