Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a part-time associate veterinarian to join their team. This is a small animal clinic focused on cats and dogs, offering full general practice services in a supportive, high-quality environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. It is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion, and the position is offered on a part-time basis with flexibility.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves full general practice responsibilities, including wellness, internal medicine, pain management, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and equipped with ultrasound, radiology and dental radiology, in-house labs, and a full surgical suite for soft tissue procedures and dental cases. The team handles a diverse caseload and offers a wide range of services, including wellness care, internal medicine, pain management, surgical services, and emergency dental care.

Team
The hospital is home to three DVMs and a tenured support staff, providing a stable and experienced team environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
