Job Description
Introduction
A well-established, community-focused small animal hospital in Seattle, Washington is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. Currently a three-doctor practice, the hospital is looking to add a fourth veterinarian to support an increasing caseload. The practice offers a blend of general practice and urgent care, though there is full flexibility for a veterinarian to focus purely on GP if preferred, making this an adaptable role within a supportive and progressive environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with Sundays closed, offering a structured yet flexible rota with no on-call responsibilities to support a healthy work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing comprehensive small animal care across consultations, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry, with the option to incorporate urgent care cases depending on individual interest, while building strong client relationships, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to a positive and team-oriented clinical environment.
Practice Details
The hospital delivers a mix of preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent care services, supported by modern facilities and a patient-first approach that allows veterinarians to work cases up thoroughly while maintaining flexibility in how they practice medicine.

You will be joining a collaborative three-doctor team supported by experienced technicians and client care staff, within a welcoming environment that values communication, shared learning, and mutual support as the practice continues to grow.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
