Introduction
Our client is a feline-focused veterinary practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing dedicated care for cats and dogs in a modern hospital environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality small animal care across wellness, preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnostic testing, medical, surgical, and dental procedures, as well as developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each patient. The role involves client communication, including explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and prognoses, as well as providing ongoing updates and follow-up care. Additional responsibilities include recommending preventive healthcare such as vaccinations, parasite control, nutritional guidance, and behavioral counseling, while maintaining accurate medical records and supporting a collaborative team culture. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on Sundays. The practice is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and diagnostic testing capabilities, along with facilities to perform a wide range of surgical procedures including spays and neuters, tumor removals, exploratory surgery, cystotomy, splenectomy, mastectomy, and ophthalmological surgery. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, life-stage care, treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, nutritional counseling, behavioral counseling, dental care with anesthetic procedures and x-rays, and advanced diagnostics. The practice emphasizes connection, education, and comfort, creating a supportive environment focused on strong client relationships and high standards of care, while providing autonomy with access to broader support and resources.

The hospital has 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
