Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team, providing care for cats and dogs in a well-established and community-focused setting.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality veterinary care, including performing examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and carrying out surgical and dental procedures. The role includes maintaining accurate medical records, developing treatment plans, and ensuring excellent client communication across in-person, phone, and email interactions. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the Principal Doctor and Practice Manager to uphold medical standards, supporting hospital performance, and contributing to staff training and development. The position offers exposure to a broad caseload including wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and emergency care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with support available for skill development.

Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited small animal practice that has been serving its local community since 1986, with a strong reputation for high-quality, compassionate care. It offers a full suite of services including annual exams, immunizations, internal medicine, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, radiology, in-house diagnostics, and emergency medicine. The facility is equipped with modern veterinary technology and in-house pharmacy services, supporting efficient and comprehensive patient care. The practice emphasizes a collaborative, client-focused culture and is committed to building long-term relationships with pet owners. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Saturday availability on request, and is closed on Sundays.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support staff, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and team-oriented environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
