Job Description

Introduction
A well-established small animal hospital in Seattle, Washington is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and supportive team. This AAHA-accredited, Fear Free-focused practice offers a strong general practice foundation with opportunities to expand into urgent care, all within a modern, recently updated clinical environment that supports both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, with flexible full-time or part-time scheduling available, providing a consistent weekday rota with no on-call responsibilities and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver comprehensive small animal care including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and medical case management, with opportunities to manage urgent care cases, while building long-term client relationships and collaborating closely with colleagues and local specialists on more complex cases.

Practice Details
This is a modern, well-equipped hospital featuring digital radiography, ultrasound, therapy laser, and updated treatment spaces, supporting a varied caseload that includes preventative care, chronic disease management, behavioral medicine, and end-of-life care, with a notably strong feline patient base.

You will join a collaborative veterinary team supported by skilled technicians and support staff, within a culture that emphasizes mentorship, teamwork, and continuous learning in a well-established community-focused setting.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
