Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital that is hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian. The hospital sees cats and dogs and has proudly provided comprehensive, high-quality veterinary care to the community since 2024 within an amazing new facility. The practice offers a modern and collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care across both general practice and urgent care services.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities while also supporting the hospital’s urgent care service. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload ranging from routine wellness and preventative care through to urgent and non-life-threatening emergency presentations. Responsibilities include diagnostics, treatment planning, client communication, and delivering compassionate patient care within a collaborative clinical environment. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and newer graduates. The practice is committed to providing ongoing education, mentorship, and hands-on training to help veterinarians continue developing their clinical skills and achieve long-term career growth within the hospital.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Sunday from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, digital dental X-ray and digital X-ray technology, supporting efficient diagnostics and high-quality patient care across a varied caseload. Services offered include orthopedics alongside a full scope of general practice and urgent care services. The practice manages a diverse caseload ranging from routine wellness appointments to non-life-threatening emergencies, creating an engaging and dynamic clinical environment. In addition, the hospital also provides pet chiropractic care and pet boarding, supporting a comprehensive approach to patient and client care.

Team
The practice is home to a team of two veterinarians supported by a collaborative and well-structured support staff. The hospital maintains a minimum 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, ensuring veterinarians are well supported in delivering high-quality patient care. The collaborative culture across the hospital encourages teamwork, communication, and shared clinical excellence, creating an environment focused on providing seamless and compassionate care to both patients and clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
