Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a clinic seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its established small animal team. Caring for dogs and cats, the clinic has been serving the Seabrook community since 1980 and is committed to delivering comprehensive veterinary care across wellness, advanced medicine, surgery, and urgent care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive medical care across wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care. You will build lasting relationships with clients, perform examinations, diagnose and treat medical conditions, educate pet owners on treatment plans, and collaborate closely with the veterinary and support teams to deliver high-quality patient care. The role includes surgical responsibilities such as anesthesia, spays and neuters, soft tissue surgery, mass removal, and dental surgery. You will also have the opportunity to manage cases involving internal medicine, pain management, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, OFA certifications, endocrinology, behaviour therapy, and blood transfusions.

Practice Details
The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The facility is equipped with an in-hospital surgery suite, in-house digital radiography, a well-stocked pharmacy, and supervised hospitalization areas to support comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. Services include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care. The practice is designed to manage a diverse caseload efficiently through high patient volumes, drop-off appointments, and same-day urgent care, providing an excellent environment for professional development and collaborative medicine.

Team
The practice is home to 2 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The collaborative environment encourages professional growth, teamwork, and continuous learning, making it an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
