Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a Veterinarian. This is an AAHA-accredited hospital providing comprehensive small animal general practice alongside emergency services and exotic pet care. The role is a full-time position focused on delivering high-quality companion animal and emergency medicine within a large, collaborative clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week for walk-in and emergency care. General practice wellness appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The position is full-time and specific scheduling is flexible and open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care including wellness and preventative services, diagnostics, emergency and urgent care, surgery, dentistry, and client communication. Daily duties include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, managing emergency and hospitalized patients, educating clients on treatment plans, and collaborating closely with a large multidisciplinary veterinary and paraprofessional team. This role is suited to veterinarians dedicated to practicing a high standard of medicine within a fast-paced, collaborative hospital setting.

Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited facility offering a wide scope of services including hospitalization, emergency care, surgery, dental care, diagnostic imaging, bloodwork, parasite prevention, and integrative medicine. Advanced diagnostics include in-house laboratory testing, digital radiography, ultrasound, echocardiography, laparoscopic imaging, and telemedicine cardiology consultation. Surgical capabilities range from routine procedures to advanced orthopedic, soft-tissue, and emergency surgeries. The practice also provides extensive exotic pet care and integrative therapies such as acupuncture, chiropractic care, laser therapy, and rehabilitation services. The caseload supports complex and varied medical presentations within a culture focused on collaboration, education, and high clinical standards.

Team
The hospital team includes 14 DVMs working alongside a large, skilled support staff in a highly collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork, shared expertise, and continuous professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
