Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join a small animal practice serving dogs and cats in Savannah, Georgia. This AAHA-accredited hospital is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about providing high-quality medical and surgical care within a collaborative and supportive team environment. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply, with dedicated mentorship available for those early in their careers.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload of wellness, sick, and medical cases while delivering comprehensive patient care and exceptional client service. Responsibilities include preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, internal medicine, hospitalization, and emergency care support. The role also involves collaborating closely with the hospital’s experienced support team to ensure the highest standards of care for patients and clients. This opportunity offers exposure to a broad range of cases and is suited to veterinarians looking to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive and well-equipped environment.
Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited, three-doctor veterinary hospital has been serving the Savannah community for many years and was recognized as one of America’s Top 100 Best Veterinary Hospitals for 2025. The practice offers a wide range of services including dermatology, diagnostic imaging, digital radiology, EKG, ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, diabetes management, preventive care, dentistry, dental x-rays, anesthesia, emergency care, general surgery, internal medicine, pain management, periodontics, radiology, routine surgeries, hospitalization, and spays and neuters. The hospital also features in-house laboratory services, an in-house pharmacy, an in-office surgical suite, and separate newly renovated boarding facilities for dogs and cats. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
