Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in the Saukville, Wisconsin area seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This established practice provides high-quality care to companion animals, including dogs, cats, and small mammals. With a focus on preventative medicine, diagnostics, and advanced procedures, the hospital is equipped to deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative and progressive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., closing on Sundays. The Associate Veterinarian position offers a four-day workweek with a rotating half-day on Saturdays. There are no on-call hours or late evening shifts, supporting an excellent work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care, including wellness exams, preventative medicine, diagnostics, and advanced surgical and dental procedures. The role includes managing a varied caseload across general practice, surgery, and internal medicine while maintaining a compassionate approach toward clients and patients. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available for those beginning their careers.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including digital radiography, ultrasound, EKG, endoscopy, and a full in-house laboratory. Additional services include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, dentistry, dermatology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, and pain management. Preventative care offerings cover wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, microchipping, and nutritional counseling. The facility also provides intensive care, hospitalization, and an isolation ward to support complex medical needs. This modern, well-equipped environment allows veterinarians to practice high-quality, comprehensive medicine.

Team
The practice is supported by a team of 2 DVMs and a skilled group of support staff who work cohesively to ensure efficient and compassionate patient care. The team fosters a collaborative, supportive atmosphere where professional development and mentorship are valued.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
