Introduction
Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join their well-established, community-focused animal hospital.
Serving the community for more than 60 years, the practice provides a wide range of medical services, from routine wellness examinations and preventative care to dentistry and complex soft-tissue surgery. Its experienced team approaches every case with professionalism, empathy, and a shared commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Working Hours and Rota
The hospital is open from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Mondays, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. Saturday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and the practice is closed on Sundays.
The successful candidate will participate in a fair rota arranged within these opening hours. Specific working days, hours, and Saturday coverage can be discussed during the interview process.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Veterinarian within the practice, you will provide thoughtful, high-quality medical care throughout every stage of a patient’s life. You will work collaboratively with fellow veterinarians and the wider support team to develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans while building trusted relationships with clients.
The role will involve conducting consultations, wellness examinations, and health assessments, as well as diagnosing and treating a varied medical and surgical caseload. You will perform routine surgical and dental procedures, respond to urgent-care cases during practice hours, and provide vaccinations and preventative healthcare.
You will advise clients on nutrition, behavior, medication, parasite control, and ongoing care. You will also maintain accurate clinical records, communicate treatment options clearly and compassionately, and work closely with the veterinary technicians and administrative team.

Practice Details
The facilities feature advanced technology and state-of-the-art equipment, enabling the team to provide a high standard of medical care.
The practice offers a comprehensive range of services, including behavioral and dietary counseling, dentistry, diagnostics and therapeutics, electrocardiography, euthanasia and compassionate end-of-life care, flea and tick prevention programs, permanent identification, pharmacy services, preventative care, radiology, surgery, urgent care, and vaccinations.
The practice is AAHA certified, reflecting its commitment to maintaining high standards of veterinary care.
The hospital is also a Fear Free Certified practice. Its goal is to prevent fear and minimize anxiety for every patient, creating a calmer and more positive experience for animals, their owners, and the team.

The Team
This hospital has three DVMs, experienced veterinary technicians, and knowledgeable administrative colleagues.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
