Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing full-service veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice is focused on delivering high-quality medicine with strong clinical support, advanced equipment, and a team-oriented environment dedicated to exceptional patient and client care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and is closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. The role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time schedules within these operating hours, with weekend coverage included on Saturdays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, including performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating conditions, and providing preventative care tailored to each patient. The role includes developing detailed diagnostic and treatment plans using a problem-based approach, interpreting diagnostic results, and maintaining accurate and thorough medical records. Clinical duties involve performing routine and complex surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratories, and mass removals, as well as routine and advanced dental procedures including radiograph evaluation and extractions. The veterinarian will also manage hospitalized patients, communicate effectively with clients and referral hospitals, participate in clinical rounds, and support the development of the wider team through knowledge sharing. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced tools including ultrasound, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital dental radiography (DDXR) to support high-quality medical care. Services offered include vaccinations, routine wellness care, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, illness and injury treatment, as well as imaging, surgery, and dentistry. The practice emphasizes a culture of quality medicine, teamwork, and continuous improvement, supported by strong medical leadership and a skilled paraprofessional team.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
