Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This small animal practice is focused on providing high-quality, comprehensive care to cats and dogs within the local community.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday. Weekend coverage is included as part of the rota, and the role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves all responsibilities typically associated with a General Practice Veterinarian. The clinical focus includes wellness care, dentistry, internal medicine, and outpatient surgical procedures. In this role, you will also provide comprehensive patient care including physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment of disease, and preventative care tailored to each patient’s needs. You will follow a problem-based approach to develop diagnostic and treatment plans, maintain detailed medical records, and communicate clearly with clients. Clinical responsibilities include performing routine and complex surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, exploratory surgeries, and mass removals, as well as routine and advanced dental procedures including extractions and oral surgery. You will also manage hospitalized patients and coordinate care with referral hospitals when necessary. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with a preference for candidates confident in small animal surgery, and reproduction experience strongly preferred.

This full-service veterinary hospital is equipped with a full surgical suite, digital radiography including dental x-rays, IDEXX in-house lab capabilities, Butterfly iQ+ Ultrasound, and Vetology AI Radiography. The hospital offers services including vaccinations, routine wellness care, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, illness and injury care, imaging, surgery, and dentistry. The facility also includes ultrasound in every hospital, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital diagnostic radiography, supporting high-quality medical and surgical care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
