Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary practice hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic provides personalised, compassionate veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to support pets and their families through every stage of life with knowledgeable and empathetic medicine.
Working Hours / Rota
The practice operates Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, with every other Saturday from 9am to 1pm. The position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates. Specific individual doctor hours and after-hours schedules are to be discussed with the practice.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care across a broad caseload. Daily duties include routine wellness exams, sick visits, preventative care, vaccinations, diagnostics, dental care, surgery, ultrasound imaging, allergy management, emergency and urgent care, and end-of-life support. The role involves building long-term client relationships through clear communication and compassionate care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

The practice is centred on relationship-driven veterinary care and a warm, welcoming environment for clients and patients. The clinic offers a range of diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including ultrasound imaging and comprehensive dental services. Services provided include wellness care, vaccinations, diagnostics, surgery, dental care, allergy management, emergency and urgent care, and end-of-life care. The culture is supportive and focused on delivering thoughtful, individualised treatment plans.
Team
The team currently consists of one DVM and a fantastic, tenured support staff. The working environment is collaborative and compassionate, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and providing a positive experience for both clients and pets.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
