Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital focused on providing high-quality veterinary care for cats and dogs. They are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian interested in either full-time or part-time with the added potential for future ownership or equity.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, offering a flexible schedule with no weekend shifts required. This schedule supports a healthy work-life balance and accommodates both full-time and part-time availability.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for general practice duties therefore they must be proficient in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry. The position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload while working alongside a dedicated and experienced team. While experience is preferred, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with a full range of diagnostic and treatment tools including in-house diagnostics and radiology, ultrasound, dental capabilities, surgical monitoring, and a therapy laser. Services provided include internal medicine, senior wellness, radiology, surgery, and more, allowing for thorough and effective care of patients.
Team
The current team includes 2 DVMs, 1 LVT, and a tenured support staff. The clinic promotes a collaborative and mentorship-focused environment, where knowledge sharing and team support are integral to their daily operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
