Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian, with flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules. This small animal-focused hospital primarily treats small animals, with some exotics, and is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time availability with rotating shifts. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. No weekend hours are required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This opportunity is open to experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, wellness testing, vaccinations, parasite control, flea and tick prevention, microchipping, and new kitten and puppy packages. The Associate Veterinarian will manage cases in dermatology, allergy relief, internal medicine, urology, geriatric medicine, and hospice care. Surgical responsibilities include soft tissue surgery, general surgery, routine surgeries such as spays and neuters, dentistry including dental radiographs and periodontics, and anesthesia management. Additional duties include diagnostic imaging, pain management, euthanasia services, and maintaining accurate medical records while building strong client relationships.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced facilities and technology including rigid endoscopy, in-house Idexx chemistry, urinalysis and snap readers, in-house Abaxis CBC, digital dental radiography, and digital radiography. Additional equipment and services include ultrasound, in-house laboratory and pharmacy, a dedicated surgical suite, and hands-free radiology. Services span preventive care, primary care, diagnostic imaging, dermatology, internal medicine, dentistry, general and soft tissue surgery, urology, and hospice care. The hospital emphasizes high utilization of its experienced technical staff and fosters a collaborative culture focused on high standards of medicine.

Team
The hospital currently has 2 DVMs and a fantastic support team, with long-term staff and strong technical utilization supporting an efficient and collaborative workflow.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
