Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian, offering full-time, part-time, or rotating schedule options. This well-established small animal hospital primarily treats cats and dogs and has built a loyal client base over many years in the community. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital offers full-time, part-time, or rotating shifts. Hours of operation are Monday–Friday 8:00 am–6:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am–4:00 pm. Weekend coverage includes Saturdays, depending on schedule arrangements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, wellness testing, vaccinations, parasite control, flea and tick prevention, and new kitten and puppy packages. The Associate Veterinarian will manage cases in dermatology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, urology, allergy and itchy skin relief, geriatric medicine, and anesthesia. Surgical responsibilities include soft tissue surgery, routine surgeries such as spays and neuters, dentistry including dental radiographs and periodontics, and general surgical procedures. Additional duties include hospitalization, intensive care, pain management, euthanasia services, radiology, full diagnostics, and maintaining accurate medical records while building strong client relationships.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and features modern facilities including digital radiology, ultrasound, dental machines and dental radiology, a dedicated surgery suite, isolation ward, and a quiet separate cat area. The facility includes four exam rooms with multiple entry points, a doctors’ office, break room, and outdoor break area. Hands-free radiology is practiced. Services span advanced care, preventive care, and primary care, supported by in-house laboratory and pharmacy capabilities. The hospital is one of the longest-standing veterinary facilities in the area, known for its loyal client base and highly trained support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
