Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities within a busy and supportive hospital setting. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat a wide range of medical cases while delivering high-quality preventative, medical, surgical, and client care services across a varied companion animal caseload. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is suited to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with students and new graduates encouraged to apply and receive dedicated mentorship within a collaborative learning environment.

The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, digital X-ray, Tonopen technology, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and digital dental X-ray systems, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care across a varied caseload. Facilities include hands-free radiology, recently enhanced facilities designed to create a calming environment for cats, an intensive care unit, isolation ward, in-office surgical suite, and an in-house pharmacy designed to support efficient workflows and comprehensive patient care. The hospital is a Fear-Free practice, AAHA accredited, and a Certified Gold Standard Cat Friendly Practice for feline-focused excellence. Services offered include a full scope of GP services, urgent care, orthopedic surgery, and oxygen and transfusion therapy. In addition, the hospital also provides pet counseling and DNA breed testing services.
Team
The successful candidate will work alongside a team of three veterinarians and six support staff members within a collaborative and highly supportive clinical environment. The veterinarians, technicians, and pet-friendly support staff are trained to the highest standards. Their thorough knowledge of the latest procedures and medicines ensures that patients receive the best in preventative and healing care. The practice maintains a minimum 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, ensuring veterinarians are fully supported in delivering high-quality patient care.
