Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital with a long-standing reputation for excellence, proudly serving the Santa Ana community since 1986. They are currently hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their supportive and close-knit team. This role offers the opportunity to grow within a well-established practice focused on preventive medicine and personalized, compassionate care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on select Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will focus on providing comprehensive veterinary care, including preventive medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, and treatment for illness and injury. Clinical responsibilities include vaccinations, bloodwork, dental and digital radiography, and ultrasound. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and those new to practice who are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
Practice Details
The clinic is equipped with modern diagnostic tools, including dental and digital x-ray and ultrasound. Services offered range from routine vaccinations and preventive care to dentistry and treatment of acute medical conditions. The hospital maintains a culture centered on patient well-being, client education, and a proactive approach to health.
Team
The current team includes one DVM, and the practice is looking to add another to support their growing caseload. The environment is collaborative and care-focused, with a strong emphasis on mentoring and professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
