Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. Caring for cats and dogs, the hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care across preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and preventative care while building strong relationships with clients through clear communication and education. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, and performing routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry where applicable.
The veterinarian will also maintain accurate medical records, promote preventative healthcare, follow hospital protocols, and collaborate with the wider veterinary team to ensure a high standard of patient care while contributing to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented working environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm.
This full-service veterinary facility supports wellness care, sick patient management, diagnostics, imaging, dentistry, and surgery. Diagnostic capabilities include X-rays and ultrasound, alongside facilities for comprehensive bloodwork and disease screening. The hospital also has the facilities required for professional dental cleanings and surgical procedures.
Veterinary services encompass comprehensive wellness and preventative medicine, including nose-to-tail examinations, routine checkups, comprehensive bloodwork, disease screening, behavioral and anxiety evaluations, nutritional consultations, dental consultations, and surgical consultations. Diagnostic imaging includes X-rays and ultrasound, while dental cleanings and surgical care are also provided.
The caseload gives veterinarians exposure to a varied range of clinical areas, including preventative medicine, internal medical presentations, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, wound care, and surgery.

Team
The veterinary team works together to support the delivery of comprehensive care across the hospital’s full-service clinical offering. The Associate Veterinarian will work alongside the wider veterinary team while managing cases spanning preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery, contributing to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
