Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal practice providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The practice is dedicated to delivering high-quality medicine while combining traditional veterinary care with complementary therapies such as herbs, homeopathy, and nutrition to support optimal patient health.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and preventative healthcare services to companion animals while maintaining exceptional standards of client communication and patient care. Daily responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, developing treatment plans, performing routine and advanced surgical procedures, prescribing medications, interpreting diagnostic testing including laboratory work and imaging, and maintaining accurate medical records.
The role requires close collaboration with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient care and positive patient outcomes. The successful candidate will also educate pet owners on treatment options and preventative healthcare, participate in urgent care cases during regular business hours as required, and contribute to a positive and team-oriented clinical environment. This opportunity is suited to veterinarians with at least one year of clinical experience.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital provides full-service medical, dental, and surgical care for companion animals. Services include pet wellness and sickness examinations, vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, spay and neuter procedures, blood, urine and fecal testing, as well as urgent care appointments during regular business hours with same-day availability.
The practice is very well equipped to support a broad range of medical and surgical cases, enabling veterinarians to provide high-quality diagnostics and treatment. The hospital actively collaborates with local specialists in surgery, radiology, dermatology, and internal medicine, ensuring patients have access to advanced expertise whenever required.
In addition to traditional veterinary medicine, the practice incorporates complementary therapies such as herbs, homeopathy, and nutrition into patient care plans, allowing for a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, providing accessible care for the local community.

Team
The hospital is led by one veterinarian who is supported by a strong and dedicated support team. The support staff play an integral role in delivering efficient patient care, assisting with clinical procedures, client communication, and day-to-day hospital operations.
