Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Treating cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, amphibians, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, rats, mice, and chickens, this is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established multi-doctor hospital providing high-quality veterinary care to a diverse range of companion animals and exotic species. Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of General Practice responsibilities, providing preventative, diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental care across a varied companion animal and exotic caseload. You’ll perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, perform routine and advanced surgical procedures, and educate clients on preventative healthcare and long-term wellness. Working alongside an experienced veterinary team, you’ll collaborate to deliver high-quality patient care while building lasting relationships with clients through clear and compassionate communication. This opportunity is open to veterinarians seeking either full-time or part-time employment.

Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of GP services, delivering comprehensive preventative healthcare, wellness examinations, diagnostic medicine, surgery, dentistry, and ongoing medical care for companion animals and exotic pets. The practice also offers veterinary care for birds, reptiles, amphibians, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, rats, mice, and chickens, creating a varied and rewarding caseload. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment including, but not limited to, digital radiography, an in-house laboratory, and a dedicated pharmacy, supporting efficient diagnostics and high-quality patient care. The hospital utilizes Low Stress Handling techniques to help reduce fear and anxiety during veterinary visits. It is AAHA accredited, an AAFP Cat Friendly Practice with Gold Status, affiliated with the Feline Veterinary Medical Association (formerly the American Association of Feline Practitioners), and has Fear Free Certified Professionals, reflecting its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of veterinary medicine and providing a calm, feline-friendly environment. The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

Team
You’ll be joining a team of 5 DVMs, supported by dedicated registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, client service professionals, and an experienced hospital leadership team. The friendly, professional staff work together to create a warm and welcoming environment for both patients and clients, with teamwork at the heart of daily practice. The collaborative culture encourages communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous professional development, ensuring clinicians are well supported while delivering exceptional patient care and client service.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
