Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring primarily for dogs and cats, this AAHA Accredited practice offers an excellent opportunity to join a modern, well-equipped hospital environment supported by advanced technology and a collaborative team culture. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available to support professional development and long-term career growth.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will have the opportunity to practice a varied caseload within a supportive general practice environment while delivering high-quality patient care and building lasting client relationships. The role offers exposure to a broad range of cases, allowing you to develop your clinical, surgical, and diagnostic skills while working alongside experienced colleagues and support staff. Full-time veterinarians will participate in a schedule that includes two Saturdays per month. Whether you are an experienced veterinarian or a new graduate seeking mentorship, the hospital provides a collaborative environment designed to support continued learning, professional development, and clinical confidence.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. Relocated and remodeled in 2019, the practice features modern facilities and updated equipment designed to support efficient workflows and high-quality patient care. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology including, but not limited to, a Tonopen, digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory. Facilities include a dedicated dental suite, a separate comfort room, hands-free radiology, an isolation ward, an intensive care unit, an in-office surgical suite, and an in-house pharmacy. As an AAHA Accredited hospital, the practice is committed to maintaining high standards of veterinary medicine while providing a modern and comfortable environment for both patients and team members.

Team
The veterinary team consists of three DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Together, the team works cohesively to provide the highest level of client and patient care. Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
