Our client is a hospital in San Jose, CA, seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team on a full-time or part-time basis. This full-service hospital has been serving the Bay Area community for over 20 years and is well-regarded for providing quality, personable, and professional care for cats and dogs. The role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, team-focused environment while helping deliver high standards of veterinary medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position, offering flexibility while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative medical team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive veterinary care including preventive medicine, routine exams, internal medicine, dental procedures, and dermatology. You will also have the opportunity to utilize advanced treatments such as cold laser therapy. The position involves working closely with the medical team to foster an environment built on trust, teamwork, and accountability, ensuring that pets and their families receive the highest level of care.

Team
The hospital is currently led by one DVM and supported by a dedicated team of veterinary professionals. The collaborative environment is designed to maintain high standards of care while ensuring a positive and supportive workplace culture.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
