Introduction
Our client is a practice hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their general practice team in San Francisco. This small animal clinic focuses on Cats and small-to-medium Dogs and is seeking an experienced veterinarian committed to delivering high standards of medical excellence, mentorship, and collaboration within a supportive environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There are no on-call requirements and no evening shifts. The position is available on a Full-Time or Part-Time basis, offering flexibility within the weekday schedule.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive primary care including pet wellness and sick exams, vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention, spay and neuter procedures, blood, urine, and fecal testing, and diagnostics for common illnesses and chronic conditions. Clinical responsibilities also include dental exams, cleanings, digital dental X-rays, general surgeries, urgent care, senior pet care, and in-house laboratory diagnostics and imaging. The role offers opportunities for leadership and professional development, and the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong surgical skills, uphold high standards of medicine, and contribute to mentorship and team collaboration. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
