Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a general practice hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality veterinary care across a range of services including wellness exams, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and preventative care. The role requires confidently managing cases independently while collaborating with a skilled and efficient team. Responsibilities include delivering patient care, maintaining medical standards, and supporting a positive and productive hospital environment. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It is a general practice offering a broad range of services including wellness exams, dental care, parasite prevention, vaccinations, pet surgeries, diagnostic testing, advanced diagnostic imaging, spay and neuter procedures, dental radiology, microchipping, behavioral and anxiety support, dermatology and allergy care, prescriptions, and end-of-life support. The practice emphasizes high-quality medicine, autonomy, and a supportive, collaborative culture.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a tenured support team, creating a collaborative and efficient environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
