Introduction
Our client is a general practice hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including preventive medicine, routine exams, internal medicine, dental care, and surgical procedures. The role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, managing ongoing patient care, and supporting emergency cases during business hours. The position requires an experienced veterinarian who can deliver high-quality, compassionate care while collaborating with the wider team to maintain strong client relationships and continuity of care.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. It is a full-service veterinary hospital offering a broad range of services including vaccinations and prevention, routine exams, internal medicine, dental care, geriatric care, puppy and kitten care, emergency care, surgery, laser therapy, and spay and neuter procedures. The practice is equipped with an in-house laboratory to support accurate diagnostics and treatment planning, as well as a surgical center designed to deliver advanced surgical care. The hospital emphasizes preventive care alongside the ability to manage complex and urgent cases, providing a well-rounded and varied caseload within a compassionate and professional environment.
Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
