Associate Veterinarian

Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on a full-time basis, although part-time applicants will also be considered. The practice cares for cats and dogs and is looking for a veterinarian to become part of its supportive clinical team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role offers the opportunity to provide the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. The practice welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Flexible scheduling is available, with the option of either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is equipped with the latest veterinary technology, including digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house laboratories, cold laser therapy and more. As an AAHA-accredited hospital, the practice is committed to using Fear Free techniques wherever possible. The hospital provides the full scope of general practice services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, alongside orthopedic services.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs working within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
