Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Providing veterinary care for cats, dogs, and exotics, the hospital offers the opportunity to work across a varied caseload within a clinical environment focused on delivering high-quality veterinary medicine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of General Practice responsibilities, providing the opportunity to manage a varied medical and surgical caseload with autonomy over clinical decision-making, diagnostics, treatment planning, and ongoing case management. You’ll work across general medicine, surgery, and dentistry, utilizing your clinical experience to maintain high standards of patient care while developing strong relationships with clients. You’ll work collaboratively with the wider clinical team, contributing to effective case management and maintaining consistent standards of care throughout the hospital. Specific doctor hours will be discussed, with the position offering the benefit of no weekend work. The opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with candidates expected to be proficient in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of GP services alongside Urgent Care, with additional services including pet boarding, grooming, and dog daycare. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, Heska Digital Radiography, a mobile Ultrasound unit, fixed Dental Radiography, an IDEXX system with ProCyte, Catalyst, and Urinalysis machines, and two Heska analyzers for urine and fecal testing. Clinical facilities include a spacious surgical suite with Bovie cautery and laser equipment, alongside Isoflurane and Sevoflurane anesthesia machines, providing a well-supported environment for the hospital’s medical and surgical caseload. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

You’ll be joining a 1-DVM hospital, supported by experienced clinical and client service professionals with clearly defined roles designed to promote effective teamwork and strong clinical workflows. The hospital includes long-tenured team members and places an emphasis on shared knowledge, continued learning, and maintaining a supportive environment where veterinarians can continue developing professionally.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
