Our client is a hospital that is hiring a General Practice and Urgent Care Hybrid Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Role Description and Responsibilities
This unique hybrid position blends a full scope of general practice medicine with urgent care responsibilities, offering an engaging and rewarding caseload. You will see a mixture of wellness appointments, preventative care cases, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care presentations requiring same-day medical attention but not overnight hospitalization. The role offers a consistent 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM schedule, making it ideal for veterinarians who appreciate a later start while maintaining structured working hours. Flexible scheduling and a strong emphasis on work-life balance are key features of the position, with no weekend requirements. The opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and professional development opportunities available to support continued clinical growth and confidence.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and is closed on weekends. The practice provides a full scope of general practice services alongside urgent care, creating a diverse caseload that allows veterinarians to enjoy both preventative medicine and more urgent medical cases. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic technology including, but not limited to, an in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, and digital dental X-ray equipment. These resources support efficient diagnostics and high-quality patient care across a wide range of cases. In addition to its core veterinary services, the practice also provides nutritional counselling and laser therapy, allowing the team to deliver comprehensive patient care. The hospital offers a supportive clinical environment focused on delivering exceptional medicine while maintaining excellent client service.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
