Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital serving Avians, Cats, Dogs, Pocket Pets, Rabbits, and Reptiles and is hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The practice has been serving its wonderful community for over 41 years and offers an opportunity for an experienced or new graduate veterinarian to join a well-established team environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of GP responsibilities. This includes wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and urgent care services. Full-time doctors work four 10-hour shifts and average one Saturday per month, with a half day off during the week when working a Saturday. Part-time schedules are open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, and Saturday from 8:30am to 1:00pm. The practice is equipped with the latest veterinary technology including digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house labs, and more. The hospital offers a full scope of GP services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, alongside urgent care services. The practice is AAHA Accredited and committed to using fear-free techniques whenever possible.

Team
The practice has 5 DVMs supported by a great team of support staff. The collaborative doctor team has over 100 years of combined experience and offers a conducive learning environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
