Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking to hire an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role is open to a full-time veterinarian, though part-time applicants will also be considered. The hospital provides care exclusively for cats and dogs and is looking for a veterinarian to support their continued delivery of high-quality general practice services.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The position involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, including routine consultations, surgery, dentistry, wellness care, and internal medicine. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering flexibility depending on the candidate’s level of experience. Doctor hours are open to discussion, with the option of either 8- or 10-hour shifts. The role includes rotating weekends as needed.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is equipped with the latest veterinary technology, including digital radiography and ultrasound, supporting a high standard of diagnostic and treatment capabilities. As an AAHA-accredited facility, the practice is committed to maintaining excellent clinical standards and incorporates fear-free techniques whenever possible. The hospital offers a full scope of general practice services in addition to orthopedic surgery.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a strong group of support staff. The environment is supportive and collaborative, allowing you to work alongside a dynamic group of skilled professionals.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
