Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care to cats and dogs. They are currently hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join their team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality general practice medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm. Doctor hours are open to discussion, with no weekend requirements. The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, offering flexibility depending on the successful candidate’s preferences.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves a full scope of general practice veterinary responsibilities. The Associate Veterinarian will be expected to manage routine consultations and provide comprehensive medical care across a general practice caseload. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice operates from a state-of-the-art facility and is AAHA accredited. They are dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in diagnostics, medical treatments, surgical procedures, and preventative wellness. The hospital is equipped with top-of-the-line medical, surgical, and dental equipment, alongside an in-house laboratory and ultrasonography. Services provided include a full scope of general practice care, as well as urgent care and orthopedic surgery.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs supported by a great group of tenured support staff, creating a well-established and collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
