Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that provides veterinary care for cats and dogs, and they are currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. They are seeking a doctor who can support their general practice services and contribute to their continued growth.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital’s opening hours are Monday and Tuesday from 9am to 6pm, Wednesday from 9am to 7pm, Thursday from 9am to 4pm, Friday from 9am to 6pm, Saturday from 9am to 2pm, and they are closed on Sundays. The doctor schedule is open to discussion, and the position can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice duties, supporting wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and all routine veterinary services for cats and dogs. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with a full in-house Abaxis laboratory suite, digital x-ray, high-speed dental equipment with dental x-ray, ultrasound, and cold laser therapy. The facility includes designated dog and cat examination rooms, a surgical suite, and an isolation ward. This is a full-service general practice that also offers daycare, boarding, and professional grooming.

Team
The hospital operates with a 6:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, with technicians responsible for medical record entry, invoicing, client education, and treatment administration. The environment supports strong clinical assistance and an organised workflow to help the doctors perform efficiently.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
