Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join the practice in a full-time position. The hospital offers an appointment-based environment with 30-minute appointments, flexible scheduling, no late nights, and no on-call duties.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide care across preventive and wellness medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, pain management, senior pet care, puppy and kitten care, acupuncture, urgent care, and emergency care. Doctors also have access to advanced soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery, laparoscopy, and flexible endoscopy. The final appointment of the day is scheduled for 4:30 PM. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered.

Practice Details
The well-established practice operates from a newly remodeled facility featuring four exam rooms, including a dedicated cat-only exam room, a large surgical suite, two treatment tables, a separate radiology room, kennel area, and dedicated doctor’s office. Equipment includes an in-house IDEXX laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, Versana ultrasound, Class IV therapeutic laser, gas sterilizer, CardioPet ECG, PetMAP monitoring, a paperless practice management system, and AI-assisted SOAP note documentation. Services also include pet boarding. The practice is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

Team
The practice has five DVMs and a great tenured support team, with a 2–2.5 technician-to-doctor ratio and an average team tenure of more than four years. The environment emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and strong utilization of highly trained technicians, and the team includes a fellowship-trained doctor from UC Davis supporting ultrasound capabilities.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
