Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal general and emergency practice. They provide high-quality care supported by world-class medicine, technology, facilities and a talented team. The role offers the opportunity to work within an experienced, extended-hour clinic that prioritizes wellness, education, urgent care and emergency services. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is closed on Sundays. The position is available on a full-time, part-time or rotating basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, urgent care, emergency treatments and complex surgical procedures, in addition to a strong focus on client education and preventative medicine. Daily duties encompass general practice and emergency caseloads supported by advanced technology and an experienced team. The position welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates with dedicated mentorship available.

Practice Details
The hospital offers in-house labs including CBC, chemistries and I-stat, as well as endoscopy, surgical laser, orthopedic surgical equipment, ultrasound, digital radiography and oxygen ICUs. Digital dental radiographs are provided for every dental procedure. The facility is AAHA accredited and delivers a wide range of services including wellness care, urgent and emergency care, advanced diagnostics, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, dental care, ultrasound, endoscopy, radiology, cardiology, ophthalmology, reproductive services, ICU, pain management, isolation facilities, geriatric medicine, anesthesia and hospitalization. Acupuncture is also offered as an alternative medicine option.

Team
The hospital is supported by a team of 4 DVMs and 30 support staff, including 2 RVTs, working within a compassionate and skilled environment that emphasizes collaboration, high standards of care and strong operational support.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
