Introduction
Our client is a modern small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. This is a progressive, community-focused facility dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to feline and canine patients. The hospital offers a full range of medical, surgical, and wellness services and is looking for a motivated veterinarian eager to contribute to a supportive, collaborative environment while delivering excellent care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm, and closed on Sundays. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling options designed to promote a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care for small animal patients, including routine wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. The role involves managing a varied caseload encompassing preventive health, illness exams, and general surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, and soft tissue surgeries. The position would suit a veterinarian with strong clinical and communication skills who thrives in a collaborative environment. Experience is preferred, but the hospital welcomes veterinarians eager to grow under supportive leadership.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a wide range of services including urgent care, diagnostics, surgery, dental cleaning and health, vaccinations, puppy and kitten care, specialty surgery, ultrasound, X-rays, and peaceful passing and grief support. Facilities include a fully equipped surgical suite, diagnostic imaging capabilities, and an in-house pharmacy. The clinic provides a welcoming, client-centered environment that emphasizes preventative care and long-term pet health.

Team
The practice currently employs two veterinarians supported by a skilled and dedicated team of veterinary professionals. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, fostering mentorship, communication, and mutual respect among staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
