Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinarian to join their established small animal practice. This is a full-time position working with dogs, cats, and a wide variety of exotic species. The hospital has been serving its community since 1973 and offers a collaborative environment focused on high-quality, compassionate care, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering comprehensive veterinary care including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, surgery, wound management, vaccinations, and client education. The Veterinarian will also operate medical equipment, prescribe treatments, and work closely with the team to provide high-quality patient care. Doctor hours follow the hospital’s operating schedule. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available, and an interest in exotics is preferred.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. The clinic is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, tonometry, in-house blood analyzers, surgical and therapy laser, and electronic medical records. Services offered include wellness care, dental care, surgical services, diagnostics, exotic pet care, end-of-life care, laboratory services, microchipping, nutrition, pharmacy, and urgent care. The hospital has a long-standing presence in the community and emphasizes a mentorship-driven and supportive culture.

Team
The team consists of three DVMs working within a collaborative and team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
