Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking a Large Animal Veterinarian to join their team. This is a full-time ambulatory position working primarily with bovine patients across multiple states, with a strong focus on production medicine and client relationship-driven care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver large animal ambulatory services with a primary focus on calf health, cow-calf, stocker, and feedlot operations, alongside a smaller proportion of dairy work focused on consultation services. Clinical responsibilities include artificial insemination, ultrasound, embryo transfer, castration, herd health consultation, necropsy, vaccination and deworming programs, blood draws, and regulatory testing. The role involves regular farm visits and close collaboration with clients to provide practical, cost-effective solutions. Doctor hours follow a full-time schedule with minimal Saturday commitments limited to phone consultations. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and professional development supported.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is equipped to support ambulatory large animal work, including ultrasound and a stocked practice vehicle. Services offered include artificial insemination, embryo transfer, reproductive evaluations, herd health consultation, necropsy, regulatory testing, vaccination programs, deworming, and veterinary feed directives. The practice focuses on delivering efficient, solution-oriented care with an emphasis on client relationships, cost-effective treatment, and continued expansion of services.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by 10 support staff, creating a collaborative and supportive environment with a strong emphasis on mentorship and professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
