Introduction
Our client is a well-established, multi-location veterinary hospital based in St. Albans, West Virginia, currently seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their experienced and dedicated team. This is a general practice that primarily serves small animals while also providing some large animal care. The hospital is known for its commitment to high-quality medicine, excellent client communication, and compassionate service for both pets and their owners.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Saturday with rotating Saturday coverage and is closed on Sundays. This full-time position offers flexibility with scheduling and no regular after-hours requirements, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to small animals, with opportunities to work with large animals as well. Clinical duties include performing wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, surgery, dental procedures, parasite prevention, laser therapy, senior pet care, and urgent care. The hospital values proactive, compassionate veterinarians who are committed to delivering high standards of care and clear client communication. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking mentorship and professional development.

The hospital operates out of two thriving locations in Charleston and St. Albans, West Virginia, offering modern facilities and advanced diagnostic capabilities. Services include wellness and preventative care, dental care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, laser therapy, parasite prevention, reproductive health, and herd management for large animals. The clinics are well-equipped to support a diverse caseload and provide comprehensive veterinary care for both companion and farm animals. Team

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
