Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian. This multi-species small animal hospital provides comprehensive medical care for dogs, cats, pocket pets, rabbits, and reptiles, and is seeking a veterinarian to join a supportive and well-equipped team. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time opportunity, with flexibility for part-time or rotating schedules where applicable. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. There are no after-hours emergencies, supporting strong work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, wellness testing, vaccinations, parasite control, flea and tick prevention, microchipping, new kitten and puppy packages, and preventive medicine. The Associate Veterinarian will manage medical cases including allergy and dermatology concerns, urology, geriatric medicine, and general health exams. Surgical duties include routine surgeries such as spays and neuters, dentistry and dental radiographs, and general surgery. Additional responsibilities include diagnostics, hospitalization, pain management, anesthesia, and client communication, working closely with skilled technicians during 30-minute appointments.

Practice Details
This hospital is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, dental x-rays, EKG, and a dedicated surgical suite. Hands-free radiology is utilized to promote safety and efficiency. Board-certified specialists provide in-house ultrasounds and echocardiograms. Services include advanced diagnostic imaging, preventive care, primary care, dentistry, general surgery, urology, hospitalization, and in-house pharmacy support. The hospital emphasizes high medical standards, modern processes, and a collaborative culture focused on excellent patient care and client service.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
