Introduction
Our client is a privately owned practice seeking a Small Animal Veterinarian to join their friendly and expanding team. The hospital provides high-quality care for dogs and cats, offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative services. This opportunity suits a veterinarian with an interest and experience in general practice surgery who values collaboration and client-centered care within a supportive, privately owned setting.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with Sundays closed. The schedule offers flexibility, and both full-time and part-time arrangements can be accommodated to support a healthy work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves a broad range of clinical duties including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and medical management of small animal cases. The position is ideal for a veterinarian comfortable performing general practice surgeries who enjoys working closely with clients to ensure continuity of care.
Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, radiography, surgical and dental facilities, and diagnostic capabilities to support efficient, high-quality care. Services include examinations, surgery, dentistry, eye care, radiography, vaccinations, allergy testing, in-house blood work, and spay/neuter procedures. The practice is committed to maintaining a welcoming, professional environment that emphasizes teamwork and patient wellbeing.
Team
The current team includes three veterinarians, supported by a skilled group of technicians and office staff. The collaborative environment and experienced support team ensure a positive and well-organized workplace for all team members.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
