Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice hiring for a Hybrid GP / Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital sees cats and dogs and is seeking a veterinarian to support both general practice and urgent care services.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of GP and urgent care responsibilities, including managing wellness and sick visits as well as urgent cases. The position is suited to veterinarians with at least 1 year of experience. Doctor hours are open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. It is well-equipped and offers services including walk-in urgent care, wellness, and sick visits, with opportunities for urgent surgeries without emergency or overnight coverage requirements.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great team of support staff, working within a supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
