Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a veterinarian to join their small animal clinic. They are hiring for a veterinarian to support their established canine and feline caseload and contribute to their long-standing community-focused practice.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and remains closed on Saturdays and Sundays. There are no on-call duties, and the role is available on a full-time basis.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves examining and treating companion animals to diagnose and manage disease or injury, operating diagnostic equipment, collecting and interpreting diagnostic samples, advising pet owners on preventative care, performing surgery, prescribing medications, and providing end-of-life guidance. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant procedures. The position is suited to veterinarians with at least one to two years of surgical experience.
Practice Details
The clinic cares exclusively for cats and dogs and has been serving its community for many years, developing longstanding relationships with pets and their owners. The environment is supportive, with a close-knit culture that emphasizes trust, compassion, and continuity of care.
Team
The hospital has two DVMs and an experienced team of technicians who have been with the practice for many years. The atmosphere is cohesive and family-oriented, with strong collaboration across the team.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
