Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice providing dedicated veterinary care and is currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The practice focuses on the treatment of cats and dogs, delivering high-quality care across all life stages.

Working Hours / Rota
The practice is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. The role is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, offering flexibility to suit different scheduling needs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will deliver high-quality primary veterinary care across a broad caseload, including routine consultations, preventative healthcare, diagnostics, and medical case management. You will perform soft-tissue surgeries and dental procedures, interpret laboratory results and imaging, and develop clear, effective treatment plans tailored to each patient. The role involves working collaboratively with experienced veterinary nurses and support staff, maintaining accurate clinical records, and providing excellent client communication around diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice is equipped with hands-free radiology, X-rays, full diagnostic capabilities, and supports the completion of health certificates. While not Fear-Free certified, handling techniques and pre-visit medication protocols align closely with Fear-Free principles. Clinical services offered include advanced care, advanced dental care, bone and joint surgery, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, digital radiology, EKG, OFA X-rays, soft tissue surgery, and ultrasound, supporting a comprehensive and engaging caseload.

Team
The team environment is collaborative, supported by skilled RVTs and support staff who are eager to learn and contribute to high standards of patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
